<elocation-id>
Electronic Location Identifier (in a citation)
Bibliographic identifier for a document that does not have traditional printed page
numbers.
Remarks
This element acts in the same way as a page identifier for a document that does not have traditional page numbers; the value could be an organization’s document identifier, for example,
“E700-30”.
Identifiers: This element holds an externally defined identifier (assigned to a standards document by an organization, archive, library, or similar) that is used to help cite a document that is born digital and cannot be cited by page numbers. The contents of this element should not be confused with the @id attribute, which holds an internally defined document identifier that can be used by software to perform a simple link.
