Type of Publishing Notes
Type of notes that are contained in the <notes> element. This element is inherited from JATS and is used for publishing notes, not for normative notes, non-normative notes, or metadata notes.
Remarks
This attribute is used for publishing notes like “note-in-proof”. In NISO STS, the type of a normative note, non-normative note, or metadata note is recorded in the attribute @content-type, for example,
“superseding” note.
