Usage/Remarks

In NISO STS, this attribute is used only on footnotes and collaborations. This is expected to be uncommon in standards documents.

Value Meaning
Text, numbers, or special characters The symbol, such as a dagger “†”, used to mark a footnote or inclusion in a collaboration.
